Financial Literacy Week

Airtel Payments Bank is excited to be a part of RBI’s Financial Literacy Week 2026, happening from February 9 to 13. This initiative aims to help every customer build safer banking habits.

The theme for 2026 is "KYC – Your First Step to Safe Banking," emphasizing the essential role of Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures in ensuring a secure and trustworthy financial environment.

In line with RBI’s objectives, the awareness campaign for FLW 2026 will highlight the following:

 

1. Importance of KYC Compliance

Educating customers on why KYC is the foundational step toward safe and secure banking.

2. Central KYC (CKYC)

Spreading awareness about the convenience, efficiency, and benefits of the Central KYC Registry for seamless financial transactions.

3. Fraud Prevention

Sharing essential precautions to help customers stay safe from fraudulent calls, fake KYC update messages, and suspicious links.

 

4. Safety Against Exploitation

Warning customers about the dangers of becoming “money mules” and explaining how fraudsters misuse bank accounts for illegal transactions.

We encourage all our customers and stakeholders to join us in spreading these important messages and helping us in strengthening financial safety for every banking customer.
